OUR BI-ANNUAL MISSION TRIP TO THE SOLOMON ISLANDS

This September holidays, a number of BAC students and staff are volunteering their time to help paint the chapel at Batuna Adventist Vocational School, in the Solomon Islands. Batuna is remotely located in the Marovo Lagoon and is two hours ride by a motor powered canoe from the regional airport. Our students and staff will also be visiting local villages, running children’s programs and Church, during their stay. This year they will be doing a dramatic play about Daniel. The drama has been contextualised so that instead of Daniel and the Lion’s Den, it is Daniel and the Crocodiles. This will be performed in Solomon Island Pidgin.

Donations or sponsorship to our mission trip and/or help support students attend this life-changing experience will be greatly received. If you are able to help, please contact Mr Clinton Jackson (cjackson@bac.qld.edu.au).
