Primary Teacher
Diploma of Primary Teaching (Avondale College), Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood (QUT)
I was born in Western Australia and was educated in Auckland, Melbourne, Perth and Christchurch. I was appointed to a Year 1 and 2 class of 32 students in her first year at Mt Gravatt Adventist Primary School (as BAC was then known) and also had the opportunity to teach in many state schools and recreational courses at TAFE.
Later I rejoined BAC working as a stage leader, reading coach and curriculum coordinator. I'm passionate about sharing Jesus and teaching reading and writing to my students as these are the gateway to learning. I enjoy the creative side of the curriculum and believe that every student can draw. I encourage my students to be thinkers and to see a bigger picture about life learning.
